Lead from the front with the Commander RG1-DX. So many of our customers serve in the armed forces, and we wanted to create a snow helmet to suit. Inspired by the classic military colour-scheme in a matte finish, the Commander is on-call to take the fight to the mountain.

Turn your Commander into a full Bluetooth snow helmet with the simple installation of our ShockPod Bluetooth audio system (sold separately). With a discreet built-in microphone and 40mm audio drivers in the speakers for rich, deep sound quality, the ShockPod system is a must-have for any music fan. With voice assistant compatibility (Siri) and four tactile buttons to control your music with gloves or mitts on and a USB-rechargeable battery with all-day life, you can always stay connected.

Included with every RG1-DX is a pair of our Magloc goggles. These goggles offer unreal peripheral vision, allowing you to see wider for your landings and a keen sense of what’s going on around you. These goggles come included with a smoke black lens, but changing lenses couldn’t be easier with our seamless magnetic lens-change system. This allows you to change your lenses on the fly faster and easier than ever before (even with gloves or mitts on). There is a choice of 16 lenses to pick from, ranging from game-changing transition lenses that adapt to the UV light present to high-contrast low-light rose lenses which enhance your vision in white-out, heavy snow circumstances. What helmet is complete without safety? The RG1-DX Commander is no different, with full certifications to be ridden on resorts around the world. At Ruroc, it’s not just about meeting the standards though, it’s about exceeding them. We use a Rheon impact absorbing liquid density liner that distributes the energy from a rotational impact evenly across the entire liner, slowing down the energy transfer in the process. This results in a 30% reduction in concussions, while the moisture-wicking face fabric keeps your head dry and temperature regulated while riding. The removable liner is machine washable to keep it clean too!
